Bumps around your genitals can come from:

• new hairs under your skin
• sweat
• oil glands
• in-grown hairs from shaving or waxing

Get It Checked

• bumps that lasts for more than a few days may be a sign of infection.
• if you notice a bump that comes and goes, have it checked out while the bump is still there.
• sexually transmitted infections which cause bumps are HSV a virus which causes herpes sores or HPV a virus that causes genital warts.
