Check Up

A check up is an appointment made with your doctor or nurse practitioner, where the major parts of your body are checked to make sure that everything is fine and in working order. Usually included is an ear, nose and throat exam, a blood pressure check, listening to your heart and some general tests, like urine and blood.

Most people have had a check up with their doctor, so that's not new. This section covers what kind procedures a doctor will cover when you become sexually active, and prepare you to be comfortable with the visit and know what questions to ask.
