Get used to them.
Bumps around your genitals can come from:
- New hairs under your skin
- Sweat
- Oil glands
- In-grown hairs from shaving or waxing
Get them checked.
- Bumps that last for more than a few days may be a sign of infection
- If you notice a bump that comes and goes, have it checked out when you see the bump
- HSV is a sexually transmitted virus which causes herpes sores or HPV, a virus that causes genital warts
