Bumps

 

Get used to them.

Bumps around your genitals can come from:

  • New hairs under your skin
  • Sweat
  • Oil glands
  • In-grown hairs from shaving or waxing

Get them checked.

  • Bumps that last for more than a few days may be a sign of infection
  • If you notice a bump that comes and goes, have it checked out when you see the bump
  • HSV is a sexually transmitted virus which causes herpes sores or HPV, a virus that causes genital warts
