• Same-sex relationships aren't just about sex. Like heterosexual relationships, they're also about attraction, affection and friendship.

• Read some books or internet sites about same-sex relationships
• Visit a community group for teens exploring their own sexuality
• If you look for a same-sex experience because of curiosity and not genuine attraction, tell the other person in advance.
