It may take
time and more learning about same-sex relationships before you know.
- You may
already know, but are still pulling together the courage to admit it
to yourself. That's okay too.
- You may
feel great as you start to figure this out, especially if you know people
who you can talk to.
- You may
feel horrible and scared - especially if you're surrounded by people
who are homophobic.

There's
no rush to label yourself with a specific sexual orientation, and you
actually never have to.
- Consider
spending less time with people who are homophobic as you learn more
about your own sexuality.
- If you
want to learn more
- read
some books or internet sites about same-sex relationships
- visit
a community group for teens exploring their own sexuality
- Consider
talking to someone you trust.
- If you
want to meet other people who are lesbian, gay or bi, consider joining
a local youth group.
